Anything from canoes to jet skis can be found on the calm lagoon which makes great fun for families and couples alike and is a major draw itself for the resort.
Food and rooms
There are great choices for food and drink at White Sands with two full restaurants and three fully stocked bars. The decoration of them all is very tropical and natural with lots of bamboo and thatch. The resort offers many different meal plan choices for those that wish to go all inclusive and the general meal plan includes a buffet breakfast and dinner with a set lunch. White Sands is also famous for the coffee shop that overlooks the west and the beautiful Maldives sunset. It is the perfect beginning to a fun and relaxing night on the island.
There are a few choices for lodging which include standard, superior and superior deluxe. The standard rooms do not include fresh water, however, the other choices do. Superior deluxe rooms offer maximum privacy. Water bungalows are even offered that are built above the lagoon. Of course, prices vary with your selection.
