Accommodation at the resort
The resort offers two different style accommodations which are the standard rooms in the back of an individual beach bungalow, these still have air conditioning IDD telephone, mini bar, cable TV, hair dryer and a terrace overlooking the beachfront. The next step up is the superior suite with an individual beach bungalow with all the amenities of a luxury suite at a hotel. The deluxe room is a two story four roomed villa with all the amenities as well.
All of the rooms overlook the beachfront, and all have open baths with running hot and cold water. The islands dining includes meals at the restaurants with world class buffets as well as entrees fit for royalty.
Activities on Ellaidhoo
The island offers a myriad of activities, it’s most renowned being the house reefs located just twenty meters offshore. The coral reefs, with over 20 different species of coral, provide shelter for hundreds of colourful tropical fish and aquatic life. The resort offers snorkelling and diving gear to all, as they are a part of the all inclusive package. There are also diving and snorkelling lessons available if you are not au fait with them. The island and surrounding waters also make an excellent location for sports such as windsurfing and catamaran sailing and walking.
Back on dry land, volleyball and tennis courts are also available on the island. Guests also have access to a fitness centre and spa, complete with spinning sauna and jacuzzi, as well as plenty of private beach front to simply relax and enjoy the sunny tropical weather. There are also several planned weekly excursions including sunset and night fishing on the reefs as well as trips to nearby uninhabited islands and a day long island hopping excursion which would take the guests to several uninhabited islands as well as sister resorts.
